Each exotic wood piece is a very unique piece of nature, individually hand carved by talented artisans to create a one of a kind piece of art. All are unique in structure, color and texture with individual personality. Some of these pieces may have, or develop slight cracks as the piece becomes acclimated and as the humidity level fluctuates. Some may have natural pockets, voids or holes. These are not defects, they add to the character of each piece! These baskets, bowls, and vases should occasionally be treated with a light wax or oil product to help protect and brighten their luster.
